 Sen. Cornyn met with prominent medical leaders from Dallas to discuss pending health care reform legislation and efforts underway to provide affordable care to Dallas’ uninsured and medically underserved individuals. Their roundtable discussion took place at Christ’s Family Clinic at Preston Road Church of Christ, a charitable health clinic and participant in Project Access Dallas (PAD), a network of volunteer physicians, partnering hospitals, community charity health clinics, and ancillary partners who volunteer to care for working poor and low-income patients.
