 Sen. Cornyn met in his Washington office with Alice Mayor Rito Silva, where Mayor Silva presented Sen. Cornyn with an honorary plaque and key to the city of Alice.
Sen. Cornyn has been working with Mayor Silva as the city seeks to secure federal funds for the following projects, which will improve outdated infrastructure and boost safety standards for Alice residents:
· Sewer Main Replacement, Texas Boulevard
· Trunk Main Replacement, Southside Wastewater Treatment Plant
