PHOTO: Cornyn Meets with Port of Corpus Christi Leadership
WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) met today with Port of Corpus Christi leadership, including Chairman Charlie Zahn and Port of Corpus Christi Interim CEO Kent Britton, to discuss the Port’s current priorities, including the Corpus Christi Ship Channel Improvement Project (CIP) and the Hydrogen Infrastructure Initiative, which would support the deployment of hydrogen technologies and the buildout of infrastructure needed to transport, store, and deliver hydrogen. Sen. Cornyn introduced the Hydrogen for Ports Act and the Hydrogen Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act earlier this year as part of this bipartisan initiative. See photo below.
