WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) met today with Presidio County Judge Joe Portillo to discuss cross-border trade opportunities, the Presidio-Ojinaga International Bridge Project, and the delayed issuance of presidential permits for key bridge projects. Last month, Sens. Cornyn and Ted Cruz (R-TX) sent a letter to President Biden urging him to expedite the permitting process and remove unnecessary barriers. See photo attached and below.
