WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) made the following remarks to media after meeting with former Congressman representing Texas’ 4^th congressional district and Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe, whom President-Elect Trump has announced he will nominate to serve as Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA):  

“I’ve known John Ratcliffe for a number of years, even before he came to Congress, and of course, worked with him as part of the Texas delegation. I had the honor of introducing him with his previous nomination for Director of National Intelligence, so I think that’s an outstanding pick by President Trump.”
