REMARKS: Cornyn Meets with HHS Secretary Nominee Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) made the following remarks to media after meeting with Robert F. Kennedy Jr., whom President-Elect Trump has announced he will nominate to serve as Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS):

“Look forward to working with him, and I intend to support his nomination.”

“President Trump won this election decisively. He’s entitled to his team.”

“Democrats are not entitled to sabotage this President by denying him his cabinet, and I intend to do everything I can to see that they are speedily confirmed.”
