WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) met yesterday with families from American Victims of State Sponsored Terrorism United who lost loved ones in heinous terrorist attacks across the globe, including the Copeland family, whom Sen. Cornyn previously met with. Sen. Cornyn yesterday introduced his American Victims of Terrorism Compensation Act. This legislation would make needed improvements to the U.S. Victims of State-Sponsored Terrorism Fund, which aids Americans injured in acts of international state-sponsored terrorism and their families.
