Rocksprings Border Patrol Station to be Renamed for Agent Donna Doss

WASHINGTON – Yesterday, the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works passed the Donna M. Doss Memorial Act authored by U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) to rename the U.S. Border Patrol Station in Rocksprings, Texas in Agent Doss’ honor. Agent Doss had served more than 15 years with the Border Patrol and was assigned to the CBP Del Rio Sector when she was killed in the line of duty on February 2, 2019, after she was struck by a vehicle in Tye, Texas.

“Agent Doss led a distinguished career with the U.S. Border Patrol and outside of her service, she was also a loving wife, daughter, sister, and stepmother,” said Sen. Cornyn. “She lost her life in the line of duty which serves as a solemn reminder of the selfless sacrifices that law enforcement officers and their families make each day. Memorializing her commitment to public safety at the Border Patrol Station in Rocksprings will ensure her legacy lives on for years to come.”
