U.S. Capitol Flag Requests
Senator Cornyn’s office would be glad to request an American flag that has been flown over the United States Capitol building for interested Texans.
In most cases and with at least one week’s notice, American flags may be flown for Texans on a specific date. Please note that the United States Senate is only able to fly American flags over the Capitol in Washington, D.C. and does not offer the service of flying a Texas state flag over the United States Capitol – see below for more information on contact information on flying a Texas flag in Austin.
Click the red button above to begin the process of placing your online flag request. You will be redirected to Senator Cornyn’s Pay.gov website, which is a payment processing website run by the U.S. Treasury Department.
Once a flag order has been received, the normal processing time is six to eight weeks. Processing time may vary around federal holidays. The U.S. Senate, members, and staff are not responsible for flags lost or damaged in the mail.
