Senator Cornyn

It’s been a year like no other.

Thanksgiving is a time we normally gather with family and friends, but this year has thrown a wrench in our normal routines.

I want to encourage all Texans to remain extra vigilant and cautious this holiday season – wear a mask, practice social distancing, and take care to protect our most vulnerable friends and neighbors.

Now is not the time to forget the habits we’ve built over the past several months, but to double down on them.

Each of us has a responsibility in stopping the spread of this virus.I also want to thank the hardworking staff and volunteers at food banks across Texas. They have been working diligently all year to keep their communities fed.

Take a minute to meet some of the people making sure Texans have food on their tables.

I hope you and your family have a great Thanksgiving.

For Texas,
