WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) met today with University of Texas (UT) System Chancellor James “JB” Milliken to discuss the UT System’s partnership with Google to equip thousands of students with career certificates and job-ready skills, Sen. Cornyn’s SAVE for Students Act, and the Texas Chips Act, which provides $440 million to UT Austin and its partnering entities for the Texas Institute for Electronics (TIE) and builds on Sen.
